acpi かな？

acpi はオフってたんだけど、オンにしたらどうにかなるかな？と思い、

/boot/device.hints

hint.acpi.0.disabled="0"

として acpi をオンに。でもね、acpi オンにしたらファンが回りっぱなしか、まったく回らない(!)のどちらかになるんだよな。とりあえず、これに関しては似たような事をいってる人がいたのでメモ。

General Symptoms
* With ACPI Thermal Control Enabled: The cooling fan becomes unreliable moments after bootup, refusing to spin at higher temperatures.

* Without ACPI Thermal Control: Disabled via debug.acpi.disable="thermal" in /boot/loader.conf
the system is first booted up. e.g. If booting up in a hot temperature, the
fan keeps spinning at high speed even long after the laptop has cooled down,
until the next reboot.

この現象は in progress なんだそうだ。 thermal かぁと思い、 sysctl してみると thermal がまったくない。 acpidump して AML を見てみると TZ エントリがない。なのでまぁ、 thermal control なんでできないよな。
